Instead of a tedious drive screw trying to push the rusty shaft out, the KNOCKOUT Fan Blade Removal Tool has a striking pin made of heat treated steel, which requires only a few hits with a hammer. The sleeve also keeps the striking pin centered on the shaft, greatly reducing the chance of mushrooming of the shaft end. The uniquely engineered sleeve allows it to fit hubs of 1”, 1 1/4” and 1 11/16” diameter, eliminating the tool from rocking on the hub. The anodized aircraft aluminum body has a rubber grip to reduce vibration.
